As you may remember, Chance once said "sometimes squirrels make poor decisions in life." after seeing three dead ones on the side of the road.
Last night we were coming home from baseball practice and slowed to a stop for a yellow, red light. I noticed something sitting by the signal post as we stopped. When the crossing light turned green, a squirrel walked across the road within the crosswalk lines, then scampered away into a yard.
Chance and I just looked at each other in disbelief. Then Chance said, "now Dad, that squirrel made the right decision!"
